Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,130 Troops, 5 Tanks and 1,853 Drones in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,130 troops, five tanks, and 60 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 3.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,368,040.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of seven armored combat vehicles, five multiple launch rocket systems, three air defense systems, six ground robotic systems, 1,853 operational-tactical drones, 40 cruise missiles, 437 vehicles and fuel tankers, and four pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 11,974 tanks, 24,673 armored combat vehicles, 43,172 artillery systems, 1,826 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,403 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 325,615 operational-tactical drones, 4,733 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 102,575 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,245 pieces of special equipment.

The General Staff added that 263 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past day as Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to repel Russian attacks across multiple sectors.

Earlier, reports emerged that Russia may announce a new wave of military mobilization this autumn following heavy battlefield losses and the failure of its winter-spring offensive.
