Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,600 Troops, 5 Tanks, and 58 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost 1,600 troops, 58 artillery systems, and more than 1,700 UAVs over the past day, as Ukraine reported 257 combat clashes along the front.

Russian forces lost another 1,600 troops killed and wounded, five tanks, three armored combat vehicles, and 58 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 13.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached 1,420,690.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of one multiple launch rocket system, four air defense systems, 11 ground robotic systems, 1,734 operational-tactical UAVs, seven cruise missiles, 494 vehicles and fuel tankers, and five pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,125 tanks, 24,931 armored combat vehicles, 45,865 artillery systems, 1,929 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,489 air defense systems, 437 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,894 ground robotic systems, 405,693 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,896 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 119,532 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,412 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff said 257 combat engagements took place between Ukrainian forces and Russian troops over the past day.

In addition, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck 697 targets inside Russia through deep strike operations during the first six months of 2026.

Direct and indirect economic losses inflicted on the enemy are estimated at no less than $6.1 billion, according to Ukraine’s military command.

Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces struck 14 more Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov overnight into July 12, bringing the total number of vessels hit during a week-long drone campaign to 90.

Previously, reports emerged that Russian forces lost roughly $278 million worth of military equipment in one day of fighting.
