Daily Update: Russia Loses 950 Troops, 68 Artillery Systems, and 1,819 Drones in One Day

Russia lost 950 troops, 68 artillery systems, and 1,819 UAVs over the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of May 23, Russia’s total personnel losses since the start of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,354,810.

Ukrainian forces also destroyed 5 tanks, bringing Russia’s total tank losses to 11,949, and 5 armored fighting vehicles, raising the cumulative figure to 24,599.
Russia’s artillery losses rose to 42,579 systems, while its multiple launch rocket system losses increased by 1 to 1,799.

Ukraine also reported the destruction of 4 air defense systems, bringing the total to 1,394, as well as 4 unmanned ground vehicles, raising that category to 1,444.
According to the General Staff, Russia has also lost 30,478 UAVs, 4,632 cruise missiles, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 33 warships and boats, and 2 submarines since the beginning of the full-scale war.
In addition, Russian forces lost 201 vehicles and fuel tanks over the past day, bringing the total to 98,406, while special equipment losses increased by 5 to 4,212.
Earlier, a US Defense Intelligence Agency assessment stated that Ukraine had recaptured approximately 400 square kilometers of territory after thousands of Starlink terminals used by Russian forces were reportedly disabled, disrupting their communications on the battlefield.
