The Kerch ferry terminal is considered an important logistics hub used by Russian forces to transport military equipment, ammunition, and other supplies from Russia’s Krasnodar region to temporarily occupied Crimea.
Telegram channel Crimean Wind reported that explosions were heard in Kerch during the night and that the ferry terminal caught fire following the attack. The channel also reported fires near the Dzhankoi military airfield, at the Novotroitske wind farm, and near the Polymer electrical substation and railway infrastructure in Kerch.
Russian occupation authorities had not officially confirmed damage to the reported sites at the time of publication.

The Russian-installed head of temporarily occupied Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, said one person was killed and two others, including a 10-year-old child, were injured during the attack. He did not comment on the reported fires at military or logistics facilities.
Earlier, The Moscow Times reported that Russian reserve and retired officers conducted a command-staff exercise simulating a Ukrainian amphibious landing in temporarily occupied Crimea, reflecting growing concern over the peninsula’s security as Ukraine continues to target Russian military logistics.
