During the previous Russian strike on June 24 on the city of Zaporizhzhia four civilians were injured, including three children.

The afternoon attack damaged civilian infrastructure and property in the regional capital.

According to Fedorov, the strike hit a catering facility that was not operating at the time, while several nearby vehicles were also damaged. All four injured civilians were taken for medical treatment, and emergency services continued working at the scene.

Images released by the regional administration showed a large crater at the impact site, consistent with the effects of a Russian guided aerial bomb.

Moreover, on June 28, Russia carried out a large-scale overnight aerial attack against Ukraine, launching ballistic and anti-ship missiles in combination with more than 140 attack drones.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, most of the incoming aerial threats were intercepted by Ukraine’s air defense systems. However, several missiles and drones reached their targets, with impacts reported in the Kyiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
