Videos published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+ showed a large fire and heavy damage at the site following the strike. According to the OSINT group “KyberBoroshno,” the facility was located near the inactive “Udarnik” mine inside the city.
Dnipro Osint ⟨Harbuz⟩ reported that the targeted complex was being used by Russian forces as both a UAV assembly workshop and a school for drone operators. The analysts identified the site at coordinates 48.017798, 38.747165.
“According to our information, the buildings that were hit housed a UAV production workshop and a drone operator school,” the group stated.
According to Exilenova+, multiple strike drones were used in the attack. Footage circulating online showed flames visible from several parts of the city, while eyewitness videos indicated extensive destruction at the facility.
Snizhne, occupied by Russian-backed forces since 2014, is located in eastern Donetsk region near the Russian border. The city lies roughly 100 kilometers from the current frontline and has been used by Russian forces as a rear logistics and support hub during the war against Ukraine.
Russian troops had established military infrastructure in the area surrounding the former mine complex, including facilities connected to drone operations.
Ukraine significantly expanded its long-range strike campaign, with Ukrainian drones now reaching targets up to 1,700–2,000 kilometers inside Russia. Recent strikes have targeted Russian airfields, oil refineries, naval infrastructure, and military facilities deep in the rear, including the Shagol airbase in Russia’s Chelyabinsk region.

Ukrainian forces also reportedly struck Russian fuel infrastructure facilities, including the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region and the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station in the Yaroslavl region.
