According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (DSNS), the strike ignited a fire in a nine-story residential building, with flames spreading from the first to the sixth floor. Emergency services evacuated 146 residents from the damaged building.
Firefighters, rescue units, psychologists, and Red Cross representatives were deployed to the site. A “Point of Invincibility” and a coordination center were established to support affected residents.
Kyiv regional governor Mykola Kalashnyk stated via Telegram that “19 people were injured, including four children. Eleven individuals were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries, including burns, shrapnel wounds, limb injuries, and smoke inhalation.” Kalashnyk also confirmed that one man was killed in the attack.

Additional damage included destruction to 14 private houses, two more residential buildings, seven vehicles, and one industrial enterprise.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the attack was part of a broader Russian operation that included two Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from temporarily occupied Crimea and 122 strike UAVs of various types, including Shahed and Geran.
Air defenses managed to neutralize 104 of the drones using aviation, mobile fire teams, electronic warfare units, and air defense missile systems. However, missile impacts and drone strikes were recorded in 13 locations, with debris falling in two other areas.

In a Telegram post on November 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that over the past week alone, Russian forces had launched nearly 1,400 strike drones, 1,100 guided bombs, and 66 missiles against Ukraine.
“These strikes happen every day,” Zelenskyy wrote. “That is why strengthening Ukraine’s resilience remains a daily task—missile systems and air defense are essential.”

The attack on Vyshhorod was one of several incidents during a night of coordinated assaults targeting Kyiv and surrounding districts. According to Kyiv regional authorities, five districts in the region reported injuries, with at least 14 people affected.
Earlier on November 29, Russia launched one of its largest coordinated air assaults on Kyiv and multiple regions, using around 36 missiles and nearly 600 drones, according to Ukrainian officials. The strike caused widespread blackouts, fires, and structural damage across the capital and left at least three people dead and dozens injured.
