Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) strike drones executed a successful operation on the night of October 29, targeting key Russian military and infrastructure sites across temporarily occupied Crimea, sources reported, according to RBC-Ukraine.

By morning, the Russians were reportedly missing a Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft missile system, a crucial element of their air defense valued at about $20 million. The adversary also lost two radar stations. The elimination or disabling of these air defense components severely degrades Russia's defensive posture in the Crimean direction, RBC-Ukraine, reported.

Beyond military hardware, the SBU strikes also targeted the infrastructure fueling the Russian war machine. Drones hit a fuel depot in the village of Hvardiiske, igniting a massive fire and sending a huge plume of black smoke into the air. A separate drone strike was confirmed at the Komsomolska oil depot.

“The SBU continues its systemic work to destroy the air defense systems covering Crimea and the oil depots supplying the enemy with fuel. Every such special operation reduces the Russians' military and logistical potential,” an informed SBU source stated.

Earlier, a Ukrainian strike drone, piloted by the SBU, engaged and disabled a Russian missile launcher. The targeted asset is believed to have been a component of the S-300 or S-400 air defense system.
