Ukraine’s Defense Forces targeted two oil infrastructure sites inside Russia and hit two aircraft at a military airfield in occupied Crimea, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 23.
The military confirmed that overnight units of missile and artillery forces, together with drone formations, carried out coordinated strikes on critical Russian assets.
One of the targets was the “8-N” linear production-dispatching station near the village of Naitopovychi in Russia’s Bryansk region.
The facility is part of the “8-N – Stalnoy Kon” trunk oil pipeline, which supplies fuel to Russian military units. Ukrainian officials said a pumping and compressor station at the site was hit, causing a fire.

In addition, Ukrainian drone units struck the “Samara” linear production-dispatching station in Russia’s Samara region for a second time. This installation mixes high- and low-sulfur crude oil from different fields to produce the Urals export blend. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
The General Staff also reported confirmed hits on two Russian aircraft stationed at the Kacha airbase in occupied Crimea. The operation was carried out by units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense. Details of the strike are still being clarified.
Earlier, Ukrainian forces reportedly used balloons to confuse Russian air defenses during a large-scale drone attack on Moscow and Tatarstan.
