Ukraine Destroys Russian Fuel Train and Depot 140km Behind Front Lines in Luhansk

Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SSO) carried out drone strikes against Russian logistics infrastructure in the temporally occupied Luhansk region, hitting railway fuel tankers and a supply warehouse located more than 140 kilometers from the front line, according to SSO November 3.
The SSO confirmed that FP-2 combat drones were used in the overnight operation, targeting two separate sites—railway tankers near the city of Dovzhansk and a logistics warehouse near the village of Rozkishne outside Luhansk.
“The best victory is the one where the enemy never arrives at the battlefield,” the SSO said in an official statement.
Video released by the SSO shows multiple explosions at the sites. Open-source investigators from the CyberBorshchno community geolocated the strikes, confirming that the fuel tankers were positioned between the settlement of Vedmezhe and the city of Dovzhansk—approximately 140 kilometers from the active front.
The second target, a Russian logistics warehouse in Rozkishne, was located around 90 kilometers from Ukrainian front positions and appears to have been completely destroyed.

The attacks disrupted fuel supplies and logistics routes for the Russian “Center” group of forces. The FP-2 unmanned aerial vehicle is a new model developed by the Ukrainian company Fire Point, also known for creating the Flamingo missile.
While the FP-2’s operational range—about 200 kilometers—is shorter than the earlier FP-1 model, which can travel up to 1,400 kilometers, the newer version carries a significantly larger warhead.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Security Service confirmed that its Alpha unit used FP-2 drones to strike Russian military warehouses and bases in occupied Ukraine, targeting logistics and personnel sites with 105-kilogram payloads.
