Ukrainian FP-2 Raid Levels Russian Fuel Reserves and Drone Stockpile Deep Behind Lines, Video

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) conducted overnight precision drone strikes on multiple Russian military targets in the occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions, destroying stockpiles of fuel and unmanned aircraft, the command reported on December 9.
According to the SOF, FP-2 strike drones hit a warehouse in occupied Donetsk belonging to the 9th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade of Russia’s 51st Army, a facility used to store reconnaissance and attack UAVs, as well as warheads intended for tactical-level drone strikes.

In a separate operation in the Luhansk region, FP-2 drones destroyed a fuel storage site in the settlement of Symeikyne, designated for Russia’s so-called “South” grouping of forces. Ukrainian operators estimate that the hit eliminated roughly 6,000 cubic meters of fuel, significantly degrading the group’s ability to sustain frontline logistics.
A third strike targeted a critical 220 kV power substation, “Krasnodonska,” near the village of Prokhladne outside Dovzhansk in Luhansk region. According to Ukrainian intelligence, the substation supplies industrial facilities located deep in occupied territory and is routinely used to support Russian military infrastructure and operations.
SOF officials said the combined strikes are expected to restrict Russia’s ability to maintain equipment, move ammunition and fuel, and sustain forces across multiple sectors of the front, further complicating logistics for units already facing battlefield pressure.
Earlier, drones struck multiple regions inside Russia overnight, with explosions reported in Engels, Saratov, and across Russia’s Rostov region.
