The ATESH partisan movement, together with representatives of the Secret Organization of Ukrainians, has conducted reconnaissance of a key industrial facility in the Russian city of Bryansk—a chemical plant involved in producing components for Russia’s multiple launch rocket systems.

According to ATESH on January 2, its agents carried out visual reconnaissance of the facility, which is linked to the manufacture of components for the Grad, Uragan, and Tornado rocket artillery systems used by the Russian army.

Additional information was obtained with the assistance of members of the Secret Organization of Ukrainians working at the plant, allowing the group to clarify the nature of the facility’s current operations and the extent of its involvement in fulfilling military orders.

During the reconnaissance, agents observed heightened activity around the facility, including regular movement of personnel and cargo vehicles, as well as reinforced security measures.

“All entrances to the facility are under constant control by armed patrols, underscoring the enterprise’s strategic importance to Russia’s military industry,” the statement read.

The group also noted that mobile communications in the area of the plant function very poorly, which may be the result of deliberate restrictions imposed for security reasons.

According to ATESH, all intelligence gathered during the operation has been passed on to Ukraine’s Defense Forces for further analysis and assessment.

Earlier, ATESH reported that Russian troops are converting holiday and recreation facilities in temporarily occupied Sevastopol into bases for military use.

The agents recorded heightened activity near the “Sevastopol” military recreation complex. The site, originally intended for rest and recovery of servicemembers, has effectively been turned into a concealed command hub used by Russian forces.
