“We are working to ensure that the meeting with Prime Minister Sánchez of Spain results in agreements that will give us greater strength. Every day, Ukraine should have results in its relations with partners.”
Looking ahead, Zelenskyy confirmed he would travel to Türkiye to discuss proposals with Turkish leaders.
“Tomorrow, I will hold meetings in Türkiye. We are preparing to reinvigorate negotiations, and we have developed solutions that we will propose to our partners. Doing everything possible to bring the end of the war closer is Ukraine’s top priority,” he stated.
Zelenskyy also emphasized the need to resume prisoner-of-war exchanges and ensure the return of Ukrainian captives. “We are also working to restore POW exchanges and bring our prisoners of war home.”

He concluded by announcing a forthcoming staff meeting to finalize legislative initiatives and strategic decisions. “I am preparing several necessary legislative initiatives and principled swift decisions that our state needs. Glory to Ukraine!”
Earlier, reports emerged that the Russian delegation at the Istanbul negotiations never intended to discuss peace. Kremlin representatives denied Ukraine’s national identity, suggested creating WhatsApp chats, and arrived with detailed dossiers on every member of the Ukrainian delegation.
