Russian leader Vladimir Putin has launched an experimental missile capable of carrying a nuclear payload at Ukraine, aiming to intimidate the West. This move signals a departure from the concept of nuclear weapons as primarily a deterrent.

A suspected RS-26 Rubezh missile streaked toward Dnipro, reaching its target in under five minutes—potentially part of Russia’s latest PSYOP, simulating a nuclear strike.

Since the beginning of its invasion of Ukraine in 2014, Russia has been subject to significant sanctions aimed at weakening its military-industrial complex (MIC).
