Russian Drone Burns Down Ukraine’s Largest Postal Hub Branch in Dnipro

A Russian drone strike destroyed a Nova Poshta branch in the city of Dnipro on May 31, according to the company.

Nova Poshta reported that Branch No. 1 was completely destroyed in the attack after the building caught fire. The company said no employees were injured.
“Today, an enemy drone destroyed Nova Poshta Branch No. 1 in Dnipro. The building burned down completely. Employees were not injured,” the company stated.

Emergency services and police are working at the site while authorities assess the consequences of the strike. Nova Poshta said the condition of shipments located at the facility will be determined after rescue operations and damage assessments are completed.
According to the company, contingency logistics measures have already been activated to maintain operations. Nova Poshta stated that delivery delays are not expected despite the loss of the facility.

“Reserve schemes have been introduced, logistics have been restructured. Delivery delays are not expected. As always, the company will compensate customers for the declared value of destroyed shipments. We are already contacting customers to provide details regarding compensation,” Nova Poshta said.
On May 31, Russian forces launched a strike on Dnipro that triggered a large fire at a logistics facility. Images released by local authorities showed extensive fire damage at the site and several vehicles burned nearby. No casualties had been reported at the time of publication.
Earlier, Russian drones struck Nova Poshta’s Depot No. 6 in Kharkiv three times in a single day on May 19, causing fires and damaging the facility. According to Nova Poshta, no employees were injured, and the company reorganized its logistics network to avoid delivery disruptions while compensating customers for destroyed shipments.
