Russian forces lost another 1,310 troops, one tank, and 88 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 13.

It is undeniable that propaganda permeates Russian society. At the same time, this is not about a population with “washed brains,” but about propaganda as an inseparable element of Russian power. Wherever Russian state control is present—including in the occupied territories of Ukraine—propaganda is present as well.

Ukraine is trying to make military service clearer, faster, and more professional: new contracts promise fixed terms, higher combat pay, paperless signing through Army+, and equal conditions for foreign volunteers joining the fight.

Ukraine is preparing to ask its international partners for an additional $20 billion in emergency military support, arguing that the coming months represent a narrow and potentially decisive window to consolidate what it describes as a temporary battlefield advantage over Russia.
