The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and drone units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
In Kyiv region, Fastiv, Vyshhorod and Bucha districts came under heavy fire during the night, regional emergency services reported. The State Emergency Service and Kyiv regional authorities said a railway station and a rolling stock maintenance depot in the city of Fastiv were hit, causing fires and significant damage to railway infrastructure.
In the western city of Lutsk, Mayor Ihor Polishchuk said the community “once again” came under a Russian air attack using drones, causing a large fire at food storage warehouses that destroyed property, interior fittings and products over an area of about 3,800 square meters, with firefighting operations still underway. “Thank God, there are no injured or dead. We thank the air defense fighters for their work,” he said.

Debris from unmanned aerial vehicles ignited a large warehouse in the village of Novi Petrivtsi and set alight three trucks, while one residential building was destroyed and several others damaged.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine said the overnight strike targeted electricity generation, transmission and distribution facilities in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions.
