Russia launched a massive aerial assault on Ukraine overnight using 400 drones of various types and a single Iskander-M ballistic missile, hitting Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, and Vinnytsia.

Russia’s war is no longer confined to Ukraine’s frontlines. On July 12, a wave of missiles and drones slammed into cities from Kharkiv to Chernivtsi—one of the country’s westernmost regions—killing civilians, damaging universities, and proving there are no safe zones left.

The Russian military launched Shahed drones and ballistic missiles at the capital of Ukraine. The exact number of aerial weapons is still being verified, but in previous attacks, reports have cited over 500 drones alone.
